First time ever event at the Willibrordushuis... A LOTR movie marathon! Come to the Willibrordushuis and enjoy its newly-renovated Johanneszal. We will be watching all three of the LOTR movies throughout the day, and will cap the day off with an informal discussion of some of the Christian themes to be found in the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, in particular the importance of friendship and the significance of Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, and Aragon as symbols of Christ.

8:00 Mass (optional)
8:30 Welcome w/coffee and brodjes/ Introduction to the life and times of Tolkien
9:00 Viewing of "The Fellowship of the Ring"
13:00 Brief pause boterham
13:30 Viewing of "The Two Towers"
17:30 Brief Pause (half-hour)
18:00 Viewing of "The Return of the King"
20:00 Pizza, Beer, discussion
Cost 15 € per person (covers all meals and drinks)
Age: 18 and up
