The Old Testament book Song of Songs is often read as a mystical text. However in his Theology of the Body, St John Paul II reminds us that it can also be read as a description of the relationship between man and woman. This study day will focus on what the Song of Songs tells us about the way the marital bond is built, and the role beauty plays in this construction.

Sr. Marie Dulcis lives in France, graduated from the Ecole du Louvre, and obtained a Masters degree in fertility and marital sexuality from the St John Paul II Pontifical Institute. She is also a member of marriage preparation team for the diocese of Reims and student chaplain in Compiegne.
